The Marrow is a contemporary German and Italian restaurant located amidst picturesque brownstones and cobblestone streets in the West Village. Run by Chef Harold Dieterle and Alicia Nosenzo, owners of nearby Perilla and Kin Shop, the restaurant aims to be a neighborhood restaurant as much as a destination. The food is inspired by the ethnic heritage of Harold’s parents, reflecting his father’s German ancestry and mother’s Italian lineage. To complement The Marrow’s menu, Alicia Nosenzo and Beverage Director Jill Roberts, have created an extensive, yet approachable beverage program that includes nearly 400 wines, with a strong emphasis on Italian, German, and Austrian producers. Specialty cocktails and a curated selection of craft beers will also be available. The refined, yet casual dining room brings together the regional spirit that is featured on the menu and features a large L-shaped granite bar, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a soon to open 20-seat private dining room.

Delicately Quick Fried Soft Shell Crabs with a Scallion Beurre Blanc, Spicy Sofrito Potatoes and Sautéed Broccolini. Soft Shell Crab season can run from early March to as late as November. First of the season crabs come from Florida as the season makes it’s way up the East coast as ocean waters warm. We serve only fresh caught, never frozen, jumbo crabs hand picked daily by our Chef.

Kosofresh is a Build-Your-Own-Bibimbap bar with two locations in Midtown East. BiBimBap literally means "mixed meal" or "mixed rice". This dish is served as a bowl of warm white rice topped with namul (sauteed and seasoned vegetables) and gochujang (chili pepper paste). A raw or fried egg and sliced meat (usually beef) are common additions. The ingredients are stirred together thoroughly just before eating. Jean-Paul and Monique Picot took the bistro's name from the avant garde comedy La Bonne Soupe by the French playwright Félicien Marceau, which had a long successful run in Paris in the 1950's. The three-act play, starring Jeanne Moreau and Marie Bell, ends with the words "Et hop! Par ici, la bonne soupe!" here meaning: "step up (to the roulette tables), and put your money down, which will give you winnings and ensure you the good life." The play was such a success, it was followed in 1963 by a Twentieth Century Fox Film bearing the same title and based on Félicien Marceau's original 1958 play. Among top-ranking stars in the film were Annie Girardot, Jean-Claude Brialy, Claude Dauphin and Franchot Tone.
