Founded by artistic director Diana Byer in 1978 as the official training school of New York Theatre Ballet. The School teaches dance as a total art form, developing strong technical skill and discipline…fluidity and ease of movement…and a strong sense of theater, style, musicality, and expression. It is dedicated to preserving the legacy of the great ballet mistress Margaret Craske. She was certified by Enrico Cecchetti and served as director of instruction at BSNY for many years until her retirement in 1987.

Side Street Kids, Inc is a not for profit organization founded in 1996 and based in the Bronx. The organization provides in-school children, K-12, with positive alternatives during non school hours in the greater NY metropolitan area. Empowering youth with the necessary skills to understand and appreciate the importance of education, positive family interaction and cultural awareness through dance.

An integrated arts enrichment program which provides a meaningful introduction and foundation in the arts for lifetime enhancement. In over sixty public and private schools throughout the New York Metropolitan Area we teach preschool through high school students of all populations including Special Education, Bilingual/ESL, and Gifted/TAG. Located in New York City’s Greenwich Village, was founded in 1953 by Robert Joffrey and Gerald Arpino to develop and train professional dancers. There is many dance socials being held weekly, bi-weekly or monthly in Manhattan, Queens, New York, New Jersey and generally in the Tri-State area. There are many interesting people to meet and many partners to dance with. All you need to do is get out here. You are invited to join our Dance Club on our quest to dance socially and have fun everywhere where possible. Before going to socials we suggest to learn at least basic steps of few most popular social dances like: Salsa, Merengue, Foxtrot, Waltz, Tango, Swing and Hustle. You will have more fun and your partners will appreciate it.

Beth Jucovy has performed extensively and given workshops and classes in Duncan, ballet, modern, and jazz techniques both in the US and throughout Europe and Israel. She choreographs for and directs Dance Visions, a professional company performing works of contemporary choreographers, as well as the works of major dance pioneers. Dance Visions has been the recipient of over fifteen NYSCA decentralization grants. The company performs throughout Long Island and the NY metropolitan area. Beth also danced for a decade with Andrew Jannetti and Dancers, performing frequently at many NYC venues. She was a soloist with the Downtown Ballet Company for six years, as well as with Ameridance International, a jazz dance company based in Munich, Germany. She is an Isadora Duncan dance specialist trained since childhood by Julia Levien. She had also worked intensively with Anna Sokolow. She has received critical acclaim in the major NY papers as well as abroad for her performances
