The store specializes in vintage pieces from American and Danish designers, such as Florence Knoll, George Nelson, Edward Wormley, Jens Risom, Milo Baughman, Hans Wegner, Arne Jacobsen and Borg Mogensen. BDDW builds each piece by hand, one at a time, in their Williamsburg Brooklyn studio. Tyler Hays, a painter and sculptor, is the company founder and head designer.
